How do I export a claim packet?

For office teams · Updated October 26, 2026

Use this when an adjuster or carrier asks for supporting documentation for a project.

Open the export

  1. Open the customer and pick the project in the switcher. A single project must be selected, not All projects.
  2. Open the ··· menu in the header and choose Export claim packet. You can also open the Exports tab and select Export claim packet on the Claim packet card.

Choose what goes in

  1. Under Prepared for, pick the contact the packet is for, or leave Not specified.
  2. Under Include, check the sections you want: Visits & crew, Field notes, Photos, Cleaning & storage, Non-salvageable items, Inventory, Signed documents, Communications, and Summary.
  3. Set Photos per page. The line below shows the estimated pages, photos, and file size.
  4. Select Generate PDF. The PDF downloads to your computer when it is ready.

What is left out

Communications is off by default, and only communications shared with the customer are included. Sections your role cannot see are unavailable; for example, crew hours are hidden if your role cannot view them.

Best practice

Review the PDF before you send it. Check that photos and signed documents belong to this project, and fix anything on the project first, then export again.

On the web only

Claim packets are built on the web, not in the app.
