How do I use the Project Workspace tabs?
For office teams · Updated October 12, 2026
Use this when you are inside a customer record and need to know where work belongs. Some tabs only appear when your role allows them.
Tabs
- Project: the default tab, with per-section claim details plus the restoration workflow for the claim.
- Events: scheduled work and field visits, with an alert when events are unscheduled.
- Communications: project-level customer messages, with Timeline, Automation, and Surveys views.
- Tasks: follow-ups tied to the project, with an open-task badge.
- Storage: contents storage tied to the customer and project.
- Estimates: scope estimates for the project.
- Financials: receivables, Project Costing, and storage billing for the customer.
- Attachments: documents and photos, plus a Signatures view for e-signature packets.
- Inventory: the Smart Inventory workspace for this project.
- Flares: issues raised on the project, with an open-flare badge.
- Activity: the timeline of record edits and system activity.
- Exports: per-project data exports.
Needs strip
When required setup is missing, an amber Needs strip appears above the Project sections with chips like Loss decision, Program route, Project manager, and Key contacts. Selecting a chip opens the right editor.
Best practice
Select the correct project in the switcher before adding events, invoices, files, or restoration work. This keeps reporting and Project Costing clean.
