Where do my exports go?
For office teams · Updated October 26, 2026
Use this when you started an export and want to know where the file went or how long it will take.
Project exports
On the Exports tab, the Claim packet, Labor log, Event summary, Communication log, and Project timeline cards build the file and download it straight to your computer. Check your browser's downloads.
Contents exports and the export tray
If your company uses Contents, open the project's Contents tab, select Exports, and start a document such as Full contents inventory, Customer inventory copy, Box and bag manifest, or Non-salvageable schedule. Choose PDF, CSV, or Excel. The export tray opens in the bottom-right corner and shows progress, such as Loading photos and About 2 min left.
While it builds
Exports run one at a time; the rest show Waiting. You can keep working and move to other pages. Use Minimize to tuck the tray away. To stop one, select Cancel export, then Stop, or Keep going to let it finish. Remove from queue drops one that has not started.
When it is done
The tray shows the title is ready and the file name it downloaded. Select Open to view it. If it failed, select Retry. Nothing to export in this view means there were no rows to include.
If you close the tab
Closing or reloading the browser tab stops any export still building or waiting. Start it again once you are back.
On the web only
Exports are built on the web, not in the app.
