How do I set, move or clear a follow-up?

For office teams · Updated October 26, 2026

Use this to plan your next touch with a contact or to fix dates that no longer fit.

Set it while you log

Every log asks for a next step. Under Follow-up pick 3 days, Next week, 2 weeks or Pick date, add a Reason if it helps, and save. Keep current leaves the existing date alone; None clears it.

Change it on the contact

  1. Open the contact. The Follow-up card on Overview shows the date.
  2. Choose Snooze and pick 1 day, 3 days or Next week.
  3. To remove it, open More actions and choose Clear follow-up.

Work the Follow-ups tab

  1. Open CRM › Follow-ups. Contacts are grouped into Overdue, Today, This Week and Later.
  2. Search, or switch between All Follow-ups and My follow-ups.
  3. On a row, choose Open to see the contact, +1d to push the date one day, or Clear to remove it.

Follow-ups in Today's Plan

Overdue and due-today follow-ups also rank near the top of Today's Plan.

Who can change it

The contact's owner sets their follow-ups. If you log on a contact someone else owns, your follow-up choice is not saved unless you manage the sales team.

On the phone

CRM tab › Follow-ups has Mine and All. +1 day pushes a date, and Mark done opens the Log sheet so you record what happened and set the next step.
