What is the difference between Schedule Board and Dispatch Queue?
For office teams · Updated September 21, 2026
Use this when you are deciding where to plan or fix scheduled work.
Schedule Board
Use the board when you need a visual calendar with Day, Roster, Mon-Fri, 7 Days, 5 Weeks, and Fleet views. It is best for seeing time blocks, overlap, crew load, vehicle use, and dragging events to reschedule them.
Dispatch Queue
Use the queue when you need to search, filter, and fix events in a list. It opens on This Week (Monday through Sunday), switches to Next Week on a Saturday or Sunday, and also has Today, Tomorrow, Needs Attention, and Past Cleanup views, plus readiness filters for Needs Attention, Crew Needed, Lead Needed, Vehicle Needed, Missing Address, Assigned While Off, Conflicts, and Ready.
Switching between them
Both live on the Schedule page as the Schedule Board and Dispatch Queue tabs, and both open the same event record, so you can fix details from either view.
Best practice
Plan visually on the board, then sweep the queue to clear readiness warnings before crews start the work.
