How do I clock in on a shared device?
For everyone · Updated October 12, 2026
Use this when a crew shares one tablet or desktop instead of each person signing in.
What a kiosk is
A kiosk is one device paired to your organization and left on the Today kiosk screen. It is not a login left open: each worker unlocks it with their own PIN and locks it again afterwards.
Pairing a device
- Open Today and select the kiosk link in the page header to reach Kiosk Devices.
- Under Add kiosk device, enter a device name such as Warehouse iPad, pick its office, and create it.
- A pairing code appears. Enter it on the kiosk page on the shared device.
- Revoke a lost or replaced device from the same Paired devices list.
Using a kiosk
Find your name in the Workers list and enter your PIN. Clock in, switch work, and clock out as usual, then lock the screen when you leave.
PINs
Set your own 4 to 6 digit PIN while signed in normally: on the website open My Profile and use Kiosk PIN in the Security card, in the app open Profile and use the Security card, or use the Kiosk PIN section on Today while you are clocked in. The kiosk shows PIN ready or PIN needed beside each name; a saved PIN can never be read back.
The warehouse floor kiosk
Restoration has its own floor kiosk: pick your name, pick the project, start work. It locks itself after a minute idle.
