How do I fix my day before submitting time?

For field crews · Updated October 12, 2026

Use this when end-of-day review shows something you need to fix before submitting your shift.

What the summary shows

When you end your shift, the Shift summary sheet opens with Your day totals, a How your time was attributed rollup, and your full timeline. If the day cannot be submitted as it stands, a note at the top says so and explains what needs a fix.

Fixing a block

  1. Choose Show full timeline to list your blocks.
  2. Tap the block that is wrong to open the block editor.
  3. Relabel it, change its end time, split it, merge it with the block before or after it, or add notes.
  4. Repeat until the timeline matches the day you actually worked.
  5. Answer Yes, submit on the confirm prompt.

If you cannot fix it yourself

Tap Something's off and add a short note saying what is wrong. Your manager sees the note with the submitted day. When the day cannot be submitted at all, the same path reads Send to supervisor: your shift goes to them to finish and you are done for the day.

Best practice

Never dump unknown time on a random event or project. Sending the day to your supervisor keeps payroll and Project Costing honest.
